DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY

FAA-Certified Drone Photography & Video for Real Estate in Tampa Bay

Aerial photography transforms how buyers see a property. A drone shot shows the full lot, the neighborhood context, the proximity to water, parks, or amenities — everything a ground-level photo simply cannot capture. 4D Productions operates with a FAA Part 107 certified pilot and professional-grade equipment to deliver stunning aerial photos and 4K drone video for real estate listings across Clearwater, Palm Harbor, St. Petersburg, Tampa, and the greater Tampa Bay area.

We handle all flight planning, airspace authorization, and FAA compliance — you just show up to the listing. From sweeping flyovers to low slow-motion reveals, our drone footage is cinematic, smooth, and purpose-built for real estate marketing.

Safety, Compliance & What to Expect

Every drone flight we conduct is fully compliant with FAA Part 107 regulations. We check airspace restrictions, NOTAM advisories, and weather conditions before every shoot. In restricted airspace areas (near airports or controlled airspace), we obtain the necessary LAANC authorization in advance so your shoot stays on schedule.

On the day of your shoot, our pilot will conduct a property walkthrough, identify the best angles and flight paths, and capture all footage in a single efficient session. Most drone shoots take 20–40 minutes on site. Drone sessions are frequently combined with ground photography and video for a complete media package in one visit.

Frequently Asked Questions — Drone Services

Is drone photography legal for real estate?

Yes — when operated by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot for commercial purposes, drone photography is fully legal. 4D Productions holds current FAA Part 107 certification. We also carry liability insurance for all commercial drone operations. Never use footage from a hobbyist or uncertified operator for commercial real estate marketing, as it violates FAA regulations.

What if the weather is bad on my shoot day?

Drone flights require clear visibility and winds under 20 mph for safe operation. If weather prevents a safe flight on your scheduled day, we will reschedule at no charge. We monitor conditions closely and will contact you in advance if a reschhedule is needed.

Can you fly near St. Pete–Clearwater Airport or Tampa International?

Properties near controlled airspace require LAANC authorization from the FAA. We handle this process for every shoot — it's typically approved automatically for most residential areas within the Tampa Bay region. In rare cases where authorization is not available, we'll let you know upfront before your booking is confirmed.

Can drone footage be combined with my ground photography and video?

Absolutely — and we highly recommend it. Our most popular listing packages combine ground-level photography, cinematic video, and aerial drone footage into one cohesive media set, all captured in a single on-site visit. This gives your listing a complete, professional look across every marketing channel.

How do I get my aerial footage after the shoot?

Edited aerial photos and video clips are delivered to your client portal within 24–48 hours of your shoot. Files are provided in MLS-compatible formats as well as high-resolution versions for print, your website, and social media.
